Each volunteer is responsible for collecting 50 pounds of food in a 365 day period from which they joined TAFI.
Your first date as a TAFI member must be recorded and submitted for each volunteer to be recognized as a member of the TAFI organization.
Food collection needs to align with the food requirements designated by TAFI at the time of pantry food distribution.
Once 50 pounds of food are collected, each volunteer must have it weighed. There is a weigh station in The Woodlands/Tomball. If the volunteer is unable to take their goods to this station then photographic proof of weight must be submitted to the Vice President of their chapter.
Each volunteer is responsible for delivering their donation to the food pantry.
Each member that is a VP is responsible for submitting their groups volunteer hours log to the TAFI Presidents. Maximum amount of TAFI volunteer hours that will be accepted over the course of a one year period is 10.
