Each chapter is composed of its Vice President plus a minimum of five members. To become a VP, please contact us HERE.

Becoming a Chapter VP

In order to become a chapter VP:

  • Donate 50 pounds of items to their pantry within the designated 365 day period.
  • Recruit five members to join their chapter.

VP Responsibilities

VP Responsibilities:

  • Make sure each member of your chapter collects 50 lbs. within the 365 day period.
  • Sign off on each members’ 50 lb. submission.
  • Sign off on each members’ distribution.
  • Ensure that each members’ weight and distribution have been submitted to TAFI Presidents for signature HERE.
  • Provide their members with any assistance they may need to reach their goal.
  • Each VP is responsible for each of their recruits' required submission. Therefore, in total they are responsible for 250 lbs. of food. If a recruit fails to submit their food within the 365 day period, the chapter VP will lose their status.
